The Cleveland Indians defeated the Kansas City Royals 7-3 Tuesday night, handing the Royals their 3rd straight loss.
The Royals built a 3-0 lead, Salvador Perez drove in a run with a single and hit a solo home run before Cleveland rallied.
They scored 3 runs in the 6th, 2 on an error, to tie the game. Cleveland took the lead scoring 4 runs in the 8th inning.
Royals manager Mike Matheny said after the game.
The Royals and Indians play again Wednesday night with Brady Singer making the start for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 7:10. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 6:30p.
