Further details are still pending after an injury crash northeast of Emporia on Wednesday.
Emporia Fire and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to the Kansas Turnpike mile marker 140 northbound, or 13 miles northeast of Emporia, after a single-vehicle crash. One man inside was taken to Newman Regional Health with what are being called non-life-threatening injuries afterward.
