The Emporia High baseball team was swept by Manhattan in a doubleheader Monday night.
Manhattan won the first game 6-0, they scored 4 of the runs in the 5th inning.
Manhattan won the 2nd game 7-1. They jumped out a 3-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back.
Emporia High Coach Anthony Markowitz said they gave Manhattan too many opportunities.
The Emporia High baseball team will be hosting a tournament Friday and Saturday.
Friday they play Dodge City and Saturday they will play Andover Central.
