The University of Kansas today introduced their new Head Football Coach Lance Leipold Monday morning.
KU Athletic Director Travis Goff called him the right fit.
Lance Leipold says he is looking forward to the challenge of building KU football into a winning program.
Coach Leipold takes over a program that has not had a winning season since 2008. He has spent the last 6 seasons at Buffalo where he was 37-33 and took them to a bowl game his last 3 seasons.
He also spent 8 seasons at Wisconsin Whitewater where he won 6 Division III national championships.
