For the first time in over a week, Lyon County saw an increase in active coronavirus cases Monday.
Public Health reported the active case number increased by two from 13 to 15 after a series of steady decreases last week. Four new cases and two recoveries were reported bringing the overall total since last March to 4,224.
The number of deaths remained stable at 84 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
There are no active hospitalizations in Lyon County at this time.
