The Emporia State baseball team was swept by Northeastern State in a doubleheader Sunday.
Northeastern won the first game 10-4. Emporia State scored first on a Blake Carroll home run.
The Riverhawks scored 7 runs in the 6th inning to take a lead they did not give up.
Cooper Minnick added a 2 run home run in the 9th inning for Emporia State.
Northeastern won the 2nd game 12-4. The Riverhawks blew the game open with 5 runs in the 8th inning.
Brady Michel and Christian Roduner both hit home runs for the Hornets but they were not enough.
The two teams wrap up their 3 game series Monday afternoon.
