The Emporia State womens tennis team closed out their season with a 6-1 win over Fort Hays State Sunday.
The Lady Hornets won all 3 doubles matches and won 5 of the singles matches.
Cy Cy Peyroche won at 1 singles and 2 doubles with Karen Santiago Sanchez.
The womens tennis team finished with an 8-8 record and 1-7 in MIAA play.
Peyroche said it was still a good season.
#1 doubles Kelsie Burr and Silvy Caceres won 6-2
#2 doubles Cy Cy Peyroche and Karen Santiago Sanchez won 6-3.
#3 doubles Viktoria Mackova and Colby Fugit won 6-1.
#1 singles Cy Cy Peyroche won 7-6/6-4
#2 singles Karen Santiago Sanchez won 6-2, 6-3
#3 singles Viktoria Mackova won 6-2, 6-2.
#4 singles Silvy Caceres won 6-2, 6-3.
#5 singles Kelsi Burr won 6-0, 6-2.
The Emporia State men play their final matches Monday with an exhibition against Barton County.
