Safe to say everyone at L&L Pets was in a chipper mood Sunday thanks to the Friends of the Emporia Animal Shelter.
FEAS held its annual spring microchipping event for local pet owners in the afternoon hours. The turnout was strong according to FEAS President Deb Ghere who tells KVOE News there was a line out the door to begin the day.
The FEAS fundraiser allows residents to have their pets microchipped for a very low cost of just $25. Ghere says having your pet microchipped helps ensure their safety and a pet owner’s peace of mind in the event their furry loved one were to go missing.
All proceeds generated Sunday will go to fund numerous pet-related services throughout the Emporia community.
