The Emporia High softball team was swept by Manhattan Monday night.
Manhattan won the first game 12-1. They scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and added 4 more runs in the 3rd inning to put the game out of reach for the Lady Spartans.
Manhattan won the 2nd game 10-4. Manhattan broke a 2-2 tie with 2 runs in the 4th and 5 runs in the 5th inning.
The Lady Spartans are now 6-4 for the season. They are scheduled to host Topeka High in a doubleheader Tuesday, weather permitting.
