The spring season came to an end for the Emporia State volleyball team Friday afternoon. They were defeated by Missouri Western 3-1 in the first round of the MIAA Spring Tournament.
Western won the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-17. Emporia State won the 3rd set 25-23. Western won the 4th set 25-21.
Megan Stretton led the offense with 12 kills. Shelby Ebert and Orianna Clements both finished with 11 kills.
