The Kansas City Royals held on for a 7-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Thursday night.
The Royals built a 7-0 lead with a run in the 1st inning, 2 runs in the 3rd inning, and 4 runs in the fourth inning. Jorge Soler opened the 4th inning with his 100th career double.
Toronto tried to rally with 4 runs in the 6th inning and a run in the 7th inning.
Fridays Royals-Blue Jays game has been postponed. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday. The first game begins at 1:10p. The second game begins at 5:10p.
