Osage County authorities say they have arrested a Missouri man on suspicion of child trafficking.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says investigators have been conducting an ongoing investigation into online solicitation of a child by an adult. On Thursday, the agency’s Criminal Investigation Unit arrested 49-year-old David Fresia of Lee’s Summit, Missouri after he allegedly made plans to meet with someone he thought was a minor.
Fresia was booked on suspicion of aggravated human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of a child, possession of both marijuana and psilocybin with intent to distribute and other drug-related activity. Formal charges are pending.
