Two Emporia High students are among 50 high school seniors that have been named as Kansas Career and Technical Education Scholars.
Taylor Moorman and Sophia Rethman were honored this week.
Qualifying students must be high school seniors with a grade point average of at least 3.5 in career and technical education coursework. They also must have earned at least three so-called CTE credits with documents of attaining technical skills. In addition, they need workplace experience, documented civic engagement and a career vision summary statement.
