The Lyon County Planning and Appeals Board is meeting this week.
Board members will field a request from US Cellular to build a communications tower in the 2200 block of Road 130 west of Neosho Rapids. US Cellular is asking for an agriculture conditional use permit for that project. They will also discuss potential map updates for the Emporia-Lyon County Comprehensive Plan, also known as PlanELC, and Lyon County’s zoning regulations.
The meeting will be at 7 pm Thursday at the Lyon County Courthouse Annex.
