High winds will be somewhat of a concern for two area counties through the early to late evening hours Friday.
The National Weather Service has placed Chase and Greenwood counties into a wind advisory until 10 pm Friday evening. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are projected with gusts between 40-45 mph also possible in some areas.
Winds could blow around loose or unsecured objects, down tree limbs and lead to scattered power outages.
