Protestors are expected outside Emporia Middle School on Thursday afternoon.
According to a news release, the protest is on religious grounds. An out-of-town protest group has secured a valid permit for that activity, according to Emporia Police, and the protest will take place near the school but not on school property.
The protest is scheduled from 3:10 to 3:40 pm.
