The Emporia High baseball and softball teams have doubleheaders against Junction City on Tuesdays schedule.
The baseball team opened the season with a doubleheader sweep of Highland Park. Senior Camden Kirmer says that was just a starting point.
The first pitch for game 1 at Sodens Grove is set for 4 pm.
The Emporia High softball team is scheduled to play at Junction City. The Lady Spartans also opened their season with a doubleheader sweep of Highland Park. Sophomore Kaylee Reimer drove in 10 runs in the doubleheader.
The Emporia High softball team is 2-0 to start the season.
