Two people were arrested near Council Grove on Saturday night on a range of alleged offenses.
Morris County Sheriff Jay Simecka says Joshua “Danny” Adams, age and hometown not listed, was arrested around 9 pm Saturday at the intersection of Kansas Highway 177 and Four Mile Road about three miles south of Council Grove. Deputies were seeking Adams in connection to a felony warrant on suspicion of flee and elude, battery of law enforcement, interference with law enforcement and reckless driving. He was later booked on suspicion of a felony warrant, possession and distribution of methamphetamine, aggravated child endangerment, criminal use of weapons, possession of hallucinogenic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp, open container of alcohol and making false information.
Joining Adams in jail was Tiffany Cook, age and hometown not listed. She was booked on suspicion of a probation violation warrant, possession and distribution of methamphetamine, aggravated child endangerment, possession of hallucinogenic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.
Council Grove Police helped during the investigation. Details about the case have not been released. First court appearance dates have not been announced.
