Lyon County firefighters dealt with a flurry of grass fire calls during lunchtime Monday.
Firefighters were paged out to the 1900 block of Burlingame and the 1100 block of Road T between 12:15 and 12:45 pm. They also reported to the area of Roads 190 and B-5 for smoke crossing US Highway 50 west of Emporia.
Of the three incidents, the Road T fire was originally a controlled burn Saturday but rekindled Sunday before apparently rekindling again Monday. Details on the other two incidents are pending.
All three fires caused minimal grass damage. No structural damage has been reported.
The fire danger will be very high for Lyon and surrounding counties for the rest of Monday.
