The Emporia High softball team opens their season with a doubleheader at Highland Park Friday.
Junior Gracie Gilpin will be the starting pitcher in game 1.
The Lady Spartans had last weeks scheduled season opener against Wamego postponed and rescheduled for April 23rd.
