COVID-19 numbers are either flat or trickling upward in our area counties.
Chase County announced no new or active community cases for the second straight week in its report Tuesday. However, one person died since the March 16 report, pushing that total to three.
Morris County added seven new cases to move its total to 609. The active total rose from two to four. The death toll remains at 21.
According to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Osage County is now up to 1,206 cases, up slightly from March 16. It’s the second-most in the KVOE listening area behind Lyon County. Twenty-four people have died.
