Newman Regional Health is now scheduling appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Newman is expecting an upcoming allocation of 400 Moderna vaccine doses and has opened registration for appointments this Friday. Per the state’s move to phase five of the COVID-19 vaccination plan Monday, appointments are open to all residents ages 18 and older.
On KVOE’s Talk of Emporia on Monday, CEO Bob Wright said this reflects a general change in how the vaccines come to the community.
