The “battle round” is up next for Americus-native Savanna Chestnut, as she continues on NBC’s The Voice.
Chestnut joined KVOE’s Newsmaker 3 on Tuesday to discuss making the show and being selected to Team Blake, following her “blind audition” which aired Tuesday, March 16th. She says she was told around 130 thousand people auditioned for The Voice; so making it on the show and then advancing is extremely humbling.
Chestnut says the response to her appearance has been overwhelming.
Chestnut is awaiting the start of the “battle round”, and will hope to advance on to the “knockout round”. The Voice airs Mondays at 7pm on NBC.
