The Emporia State Federal Credit Union took a very unique approach to its annual meeting Wednesday.
Due to COVID-19, the Credit Union chose to hold the meeting in a drive-thru format at its new support facility at 715 Merchant. As customers drove through the facility they were greeted by Credit Union staff and received a “goody bag” with information about what’s coming to the Credit Union this year and a special coin honoring the Flint Hills released late last year by the US Mint.
KVOE spoke with ESFCU President Angie Miller to see what customers can expect from the Credit Union this year. She says there are several exciting developments already underway and upcoming.
Miller adds the Credit Union is in the process of adding text banking in the next year. Word on when that function will be available is currently pending.
While driving through the parking lot at 715 Merchant customers were able to tune their radios to hear a special address from Credit Union staff and were able to pick up a frosty treat on their way out.
