The Reading Wind Facility is back up and running after being offline for much of the previous week.
According to Susie Bridges of Southern Power, the wind facility was offline from Sunday to Thursday due to an unplanned transmission replacement. Bridges says the facility got back up and running Thursday and there are no additional outages planned at this time.
Allen-Admire and Reading fire crews were called out to the facility late Sunday evening for a fire alarm. No fire was found and the call was not related to the outage.
