New coronavirus cases and new recoveries were even in Lyon County Friday.
Public Health reported an increase of eight new cases as well as eight new recoveries Friday afternoon. This brings the overall case total since last March to 4,168 cases and keeps the active case total at 39.
Deaths were again unchanged at 83 with one case still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Active hospitalizations saw a drastic decrease from six to one.
