The Emporia State baseball team begins a 3 game series with Rogers State Friday.
The Hornets are looking to get back on the winning track. Senior Brady Michel, who leads Emporia State with a .420 batting average, says they have to limit the big innings.
Emporia State is 6-11 overall and 3-9 in the MIAA. Rogers State is 10-6 for the season and 7-5 in the MIAA.
The two teams will play a single 9 inning game Friday with first pitch set for 5pm. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
Emporia State and Rogers State will play a doubleheader Saturday with the first game set to begin at 12:00pm.
