Lyon County’s recent COVID-19 data set showed another simultaneous rise in overall and active cases.
Public Health reported nine new cases Monday bringing the county’s overall total since last March to 4,156. With just five new recoveries reported, the active case total increased to 45, up four from Friday.
Deaths remained even at 83 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations were unchanged at five.
