Burn bans continue for two area counties with a high to very high fire danger areawide Sunday.
The Chase County ban goes through Monday, while the Wabaunsee County ban ends at 8 pm Sunday.
Sunday’s high temperatures will approach 70 degrees and wind gusts possible in the 40 mph range. Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties are in a wind advisory until 4 pm. Chase and Greenwood counties are in a wind advisory until 6 pm.
