Lyon County deputies say one person went to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle after a crash Thursday near the Emporia Municipal Airport.
The crash happened near the intersection of Kansas Highway 99 and Road 120 around 3:30 pm. Both vehicles involved in the crash were northbound. Early indications are the lead vehicle stopped for a turning vehicle and was rear-ended.
No ambulance was called to the scene, according to deputies.
