March Madness has begun, the NCAA mens basketball tournament is underway. The first 4 games were played Thursday night.
Wichita State had their dream come to an end as Drake rallied from 12 down to edged the Shockers 53-52.
Wichita State Coach Isaac Brown said there were 2 big keys to the loss.
Drake will next face USC Saturday.
In the other First 4 games:
Texas Southern rallied for a 60-52 win over Mount St. Mary. Texas Southern plays Michigan Saturday.
Norfolk State slipped past Appalachian State 54-53. Norfolk State next plays Gonzaga.
And UCLA needed overtime to defeat Michigan State 86-80.
UCLA advances to play Oregon Saturday.
There are 16 first-round games scheduled for Friday.
The first game tips-off at 11:15 am.
