Wintry weather is not out of the KVOE listening area just yet.
The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for Lyon and most surrounding counties. Lyon, Coffey and Osage counties are in an advisory until 9 am Thursday.
Morris and Wabaunsee counties were originally included in the advisory but have since been removed.
Chase and Greenwood counties are in a separate advisory until 7 am Thursday.
Wintry precipitation and snow fall in the overnight and morning hours could lead to accumulations between 1 to 3 inches in some areas. Additionally, travelers should expect slick road conditions during the morning commute Thursday.
Drivers are advised to give themselves plenty of time to reach their destinations.
