USD 251 North Lyon County had a special meeting Tuesday to concentrate on certain personnel decisions.
Superintendent Bob Blair says the board accepted the resignations of remote learning teacher Shari Beatty, Northern Heights math teacher Darwin Sweetman and sixth grade teacher Patrick Stevenson. All will be effective at the end of the current school year in June.
Reasons for the resignations were not given. Like many employers, the district does not discuss personnel matters.
Separately, the board hired Lanny Massey to serve as Northern Heights’ head track coach.
