Money is the focus of Wednesday’s study meeting for Lyon County commissioners.
County Controller Dan Williams will review American Rescue Plan funds available to Lyon County for coronavirus response as well the criteria for using that money.
After commissioners started reviews of department budget requests last week, they will start the process for allocation agencies Wednesday with Mallory Burton of the Lyon County Conservation District and Connie Cahoone of SOS presenting their proposed 2022 budgets.
Before the meeting is through, commissioners will also review the county’s employee handbook and will have two executive sessions.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
