One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash near Allen on Saturday.
Lyon County Deputy Jason Gifford says the report came in just before 5 pm at the intersection of Roads 330 and K, about 1.5 miles southwest of Allen. Gifford says a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Larry Scott of Lyon County was northbound on Road K when it collided with a westbound vehicle driven by 54-year-old David Wheeler, also of Lyon County. A passenger in Wheeler’s vehicle, 49-year-old Tina Wheeler of Lyon County, sustained apparently minor injuries and was taken to Newman Regional Health for observation and possible treatment.
Gifford says the intersection is uncontrolled, meaning there are no signals to slow or stop traffic.
Hometowns for those involved in this crash have not been released.
