Budget season begins Thursday for Lyon County commissioners.
The first 2022 budget request from a department head is on the agenda for this week’s action meeting, and it comes from County Clerk Tammy Vopat. Other department heads and allocation agency leaders will appear before county commissioners with their requests over the coming four to six weeks.
In other business, Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods will discuss potential proposals for materials. Commissioners will also revisit concerns with the intersection of Road 30 and C. Four executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting is at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
