The active COVID-19 case total for Lyon County saw a moderate drop to begin the workweek Monday.
Lyon County Public Health reported one new case developed over the weekend with eight new recoveries. This dropped the active case total from 21 to 14.
The overall total since last march now stands at 4,258. The death count remained unchanged for the fifth consecutive week at 84. The number of deaths awaiting final causation from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment also remained unchanged at one.
Active hospitalizations were unchanged at one.
