The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the 16 honorees in the Class of 2021 Sunday.
Among those who will be inducted are former Kansas Jayhawk and Boston Celtic Paul Pierce, NBA stars Chris Bosh and Chris Weber.
Bill Russell as a Coach. He is already in the hall as a player.
And former Kansas State and Kansas City Kings Coach Cotton Fitzsimmons. He Coach 5 NBA franchises most of his success came with the Phoenix Suns and is one of 16 NBA Coaches with 800 wins.
This year’s class also includes: NBA Coach Rick Adelman, four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and NBA Champion Ben Wallace, two-time NCAA national champion Villanova coach Jay Wright, seven-time WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Yolanda Griffith and seven-time WNBA All-Star and three-time WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson, Val Ackerman, Howard Garfinkel, Clarence “Fats” Jenkins, Toni Kukoc from the International Committee, Bob Dandridge from the Veterans Committee and Pearl Moore from the Women’s Veterans Committee.
