The Emporia-Lyon County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals will discuss a rezoning request in southeast Emporia as part of a meeting Tuesday night.
The main item for discussion is a request from Emporia Enterprises to rezone 90 acres at 1501 East Logan from Agriculture to I-1 Light Industrial. The move would accommodate for possible development.
Annexation requests are also on the agenda, with discussion coming for property in the 600 block of Road 180 and the 800 block of Road 190 in separate items.
The meeting will start at 6 pm at White Auditorium Little Theater.
