Two people were arrested and one of them was jailed after an alleged pursuit incident in Emporia on Saturday.
Full details are currently pending. Emporia Police says there was an attempted traffic stop but the driver allegedly refused to stop and took off instead. Two suspects inside the vehicle later ditched their vehicle and fled on foot but were both caught.
One of the suspects was taken to the Lyon County Jail and is awaiting formal charges through Lyon County. The second was released but may face formal charges as well. Names have not been released.
