Lyon County is closing out the week with a simultaneous rise in overall and active COVID-19 cases.
In Friday’s coronavirus report, Lyon County Public Health reported three new cases bringing the overall total since last March to 4,257 cases. There were no recoveries reported and the active case total increased from 18 to 21.
Deaths stayed steady at 84 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Active hospitalizations remained unchanged at one.
