Osage County deputies have arrested a Topeka man as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal online activity.
Sheriff Chris Wells says the department’s Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a man, later identified as 22-year-old Gabriel Remboldt, after he allegedly made plans to meet with somebody he thought was a minor.
Remboldt was arrested on suspicion of aggravated human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of a child and use of a communication facility to commit a felony. Formal charges are pending.
