The 5A State track and field meet is scheduled for Thursday in Wichita.
Emporia High will have 16 athletes competing in 15 events.
Elizabeth Willhite will be running in both the 3200 and 1600 meter runs.
Treyson True will also be running in the 3200 and 1600 meter runs.
Kyle Obermeyer will be running in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Also competing for Emporia High will be Trinity Ervin in the discus, Kaitlyn Ayer in the long jump.
Fred Jackson in the 400-meter dash, Zachary Jackson in the 200-meter dash, Daniel Knapp in the triple jump, Josiah Huber in the Pole Vault.
The boys 4×800 relay of Lane Wullschleger, Blake Spellman, Michael Shi, and Caden Wilson.
The boys 4×100 relay of Derrick Keys, Daniel Knapp, Aiden Jackson, and Zachary Jackson.
And the boys 4×400 relay of Fred Jackson, Aiden Jackson, Blake Spellman, and Cooper Rech.
3 and 4A will compete at State on Friday.
2 and 1A will compete at State on Saturday.
