The USD 251 North Lyon County Board of Education has a new appeal hearing officer after a special meeting Thursday.
Board members met for over 45 minutes in executive session before appointing Joseph Robb in that capacity. The decision was directly connected to the executive session, but Superintendent Bob Blair says he can’t comment on the topic because it involved non-elected personnel.

The USD 251 North Lyon County Board of Education has a special meeting Thursday afternoon.
Board members will have an executive session on non-elected personnel matters. “Action items” are on the agenda following that executive session, although it’s unclear whether any action will take place.
The meeting is at 4:30 pm at the board office in Americus. It will be available online on the district’s Facebook page.
