The Rays scored 3 more runs in the 3rd inning. The first 6 runs were scored off of Royals Starter Brady Singer. Tampa added a single run in the 4th inning.
The lone Royals runs were scored in the 6th inning, Ryan O’Hearn hit a 2 run home run.
Tampa won 2 of 3 games from the Royals.
Kansas City opens a weekend series in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Twins Friday night.
