Over $20,000 dollars was raised for Emporia State athletics from the Emporia State Athletics Summer Classic Golf Tournament that was held Friday.
A total of 33 teams took part in the tournament at the Emporia Golf Course.
The foursome of Braxton Marstall, Landon Nault, Seth Surface, and Travis Surface won the championship flight with a 55 (-16) in the four-person scramble. They finished one stroke in front of Barry Broxterman, Brian Dewitt, Derrek Harter, and Jamie Sauder.
Emporia State will hold their auction and golf tournament in August to kick off a new year. The auction is scheduled for August 19th and the golf tournament on August 20th.
