Minimal coronavirus activity has been reported in area counties over the last week.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says Chase County has 274 cases, unchanged from a week ago. The KDHE total includes a running total of community cases and past outbreaks at Chase County Care and Rehab and the Chase County Jail. Chase County hasn’t issued its weekly update for community cases, which was at 205 a week ago. Three people have died, or no change from a week ago.
KDHE’s latest information has Coffey County with 742 cases, up three from a week ago. There have been 23 deaths.
KDHE says Greenwood County added eight cases over the past week and now has a pandemic total of 568. The death count remains at 11.
KDHE says Osage County added three cases and now has 1,260 total. The death toll stays at 26.
KDHE says Wabaunsee County is at 686 total cases, up one over the last week. There have been 13 deaths, the same as last week.
