Hello, folks, my annual Ron’s Ride with the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics is just about here.
Thursday, June 4th, 10 miles from Emporia to Olpe. The ride launches at 9:30 am, from in front of Emporia State University. The best part is Special Olympic athletes (carrying the torch) will escort us from 12th & Commercial to 4th & Commercial.
Please take a moment and join us downtown to cheer on the athletes as they march down Commercial Street. Local Law Enforcement, led by Lyon County Undersheriff John Koelsch, is once again leading the way as we raise much-needed dollars for Special Olympics.
Your donation to Ron’s Ride is huge motivation to get me to the 10-mile finish line.
