The Emporia Jr American Legion baseball team lost twice Saturday.
Post 5 was shut out by the Topeka Scrappers 13-0 in their first game Saturday.
Lawrence defeated the Emporia Jrs 18-6. Lawrence scored 12 of those runs in the 2nd inning. Post 5 did answer with 4 runs in the 3rd inning but it was not enough.
Despite going 0-4 for the weekend Coach Anthony Markowitz said there was some improvement.
The next scheduled games for the Jr legion are on Tuesday hosting Newton.
