Lyon County is starting the week with a flat COVID-19 overall count.
Lyon County Public Health announced no new cases with its report Monday, keeping the overall pandemic total at 4,175 cases. Unfortunately, one patient died, increasing the death toll to 86. There is now one death awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Three patients were listed as recovered, moving the active caseload down to 19.
About 44 percent of the county’s eligible population ages 12 and up have been fully vaccinated. Around 47 percent of county residents have been tested.
